Déjà Vu was awarded SPA excellence in software awards for Best Entertainment Product and Best New World in 1986 as the first genuine point-and-click adventure game. The MacVenture interface saw no significant changes for the remaining three games. This is the first game in the MacVenture series. See also Déjà Vu II , Uninvited and Shadowgate .

MacWrite was a WYSIWYG word processor application released along with the first Apple Macintosh systems in 1984. Together with MacPaint, it was one of the two original "killer applications" that propelled the adoption and popularity of the GUI in general, and the Mac in particular. MacWrite was spun off to Claris, who released a major update in 1989 as MacWrite II. A further series of improvements produced 1993's MacWrite Pro, but further improvements were few and far between. By the...

MacPaint is a raster graphics editor developed by Apple Computer and released with the original Macintosh personal computer on January 24, 1984. It was sold separately for US$195 with its word processor counterpart, MacWrite. MacPaint was notable because it could generate graphics that could be used by other applications. Using the mouse, and the clipboard and QuickDraw picture language, pictures could be cut from MacPaint and pasted into MacWrite documents. Pictures could also be cut from...

A beautiful production describing the universe as it was known in 1960.  This was at the dawn of the "space age", when the awe and mystery of the cosmos was being appreciated as never before.  Despite all that has been learned since then, this film sublimely captures the feeling of being at the precipice of those great discoveries.  https://archive.org/details/JourneyTowardCreation

A handheld game console is a small, portable self-contained video game console with a built-in screen, game controls, and speakers. Handheld game consoles are smaller than home video game consoles and contain the console, screen, speakers, and controls in one unit, allowing people to carry them and play them at any time or place. In 1976, Mattel introduced the first handheld electronic game with the release of Auto Race. Later, several companies—including Coleco and Milton Bradley—made...

This is a digitized version of an in-store cassette tape that was played within a Kmart store. See the title of the file for the month and year. I worked at Kmart between 1989 and 1999 and held onto them with the hopes that they would be of use some day. Enjoy!

Kevin, feeling very sad and lonely after spending his first day in a new junior high school meets a young girl on his bus ride home who drops a pencil and suddenly disappears. Is this mysterious young girl a ghost of a girl who died on a bus years before? Why is she so adamant that Kevin learn bus safety rules?
